CLASS OF 2024

Senior Bailey

After high school, Bailey plans to attend a four-year college for Pediatric Nursing. Since becoming a senior, Bailey has become more independent and confident. Her favorite memory at CHS was Golf Sectionals during her sophomore and junior year. Bailey’s favorite class was Health Occupations. Her most memorable moment was away meets for Golf. Bailey would also like to say "thank you" to Mrs. Sanders for being her school mom.

Senior Elizabeth

After high school Elizabeth plans to attend Lake land to get her associate in medical coding and health information, then transfer to a Tennessee college for special education. When asked what has changed most since becoming a senior, she said “I am more into trying new things."  Elizabeth’s favorite memory at CHS was her first year of marching band.  Elizabeth’s favorite teacher and class was Mrs. Snoddy and her DC class. Her most memorable moment in high school was Homecoming 2022. Elizabeth would like to say thank you to her younger sister, Phillina.

After High School Cadence planes to be a CNA. When asked what has changed most since becoming a senior, Cadence says “herself.” Cadence's favorite memory here at CHS is her friends. Cadence's favorite teacher was Mrs. Warman. A song cadence thinks describes our class of 2024 is “Oklahoma Smokeshow” by Zach Bryan. Cadence's most memorable moment was being with the teachers who felt like family. Cadence would like to say thank you to all the teachers who have made these years the best and thank you to the friends who stood by her and never let her down, she’s going to miss high school but enjoy growing up.

After High School Taylor plans to work full time and get a higher position. When asked what has changed most since becoming a senior, she said “I feel like what has changed is my perspective of everything and how life is going to be after high school.” Taylor's favorite memory here at CHS is cooking in Mrs. P’s class. Taylor's favorite class was foods with Mrs. P. Taylor's most memorable moment was having P.E with Mr. Mac and friends. Taylor would like to say thank you to Mrs. P for always being there for her and helping her anytime it was needed.

After high school Luke plans to attend Eastern Illinois University and major in journalism with a minor in film studies. When asked what has changed most about being a senior, his response was “I'm more social and know my classmates better.” Luke's favorite memory at CHS was working on assignments for journalism class with his friends. Luke's favorite teacher and class was Mrs. Runyon and Journalism class. Luke's most memorable moment was prom. Luke would like to say thank you to Mrs. Runyon.
