Every year since 1976, the President has issued a proclamation recognizing February as Black History Month. In his proclamation, President Trump said, ““American heroes such as Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, Thomas Sowell, Justice Clarence Thomas, and countless others represent what is best in America and her citizens,” “Their achievements, which have monumentally advanced the tradition of equality under the law in our great country, continue to serve as an inspiration for all Americans.”.

Scholastic Bowl will have practice tomorrow after school from 3:30-4:30.
We had 277 CMS students meet the attendance goal in January. We had 140 students miss 2 or less days of school and we had an amazing 137 students who had perfect attendance in January! Students will be getting their prizes for January tomorrow from your teachers.
Our February attendance goal will start today. This month students will get a 5-point Prize Pass of they miss 1 or less days and kids who miss 0 days will get a 10-point prize pass! Remember attendance is key!
