Today’s Announcements are for Monday, May 1, 2023

CHS Dance Clinic nights are:   May 2nd. 3rd and 4th.  Tryouts are:  May 5th

Must attend all clinic nights to try out. Please pick up and return the packet to the CHS office on or before May 4th.  

 Attention Trojan Football! If any boy is interested in playing football next fall and has not signed up they need to see Coach Halsey immediately to pick up a summer calendar.

 Trojan Football is also looking for responsible boys and girls who would like to be managers next fall. If you are dedicated and committed and want to be a part of something special….see Coach Halsey. There are 99 days to 2023 Charleston Trojan Football! TROJAN UP!

 Congratulations to all of our Special Olympians on their accomplishments this last Friday at the Illinois Region I Spring Games. 

 Nathaniel Cutler-2nd place in Softball Throw and 3rd place in running 

Payton Danielson-1st place in running and 1st place softball throw

Devre Hatfield-1st Place in Softball Throw and 4th place in running

Conner McQueen 1st place in Softball Throw and 1st place in running. 

Spencer Myerscough 2nd place in softball throw and 4th place in running.

Carl Prindable 1st place in softball throw and 1st place in running

Destiny Winnett 1st place in running and 1st place in softball throw. 

 Thank you to Charleston High School Football Team, Interact Club, other student Spectors, faculty and staff who helped may this day a great day!!! 

We have a large group of athletes that will be heading on to State!! Congratulations CHS Special Olympians on representing CHS with respect and dignity. 

 Seniors: Decision Day is today! We will be taking photos in the morning, starting with large group photos of students planning to attend EIU and Lake Land in the gym. We will then be taking individual photos in the library and calling students down by last names. All photos will be posted to the school district's social media. If you want to participate, please wear a shirt representing your post-high school decision, whether it's college, military, or the work force. Local Illinois college pennants and signs for the military and work force will also be available.

 Prom tickets will be sold during lunch/WIN until May 5th.  Tickets are $20 each.  No tickets will be sold at the door.
