Last chance to get your Homecoming tickets is today. Everyone attending will need to purchase a ticket. The cost is $5 and will be on sale during Lunch/Win times in the cafeteria.
The Homecoming Parade will line up starting at 4:00 in the student parking lot.
If you had your school picture taken, it is available to view on Gaines photo website (Go to gainesphoto.com, click on the 3 bars on the upper right hand corner, enter personal keyword (student ID). If you did not get your picture taken or would like to have your picture retaken, Gaines photo will be set up in Baker Gym on Friday, September 29th from 8:30-9:30.
The Coles County Clash football game is September 29th, 7pm at EIU O’Brien Field. Tickets are only $5 and are available for purchase in the front office.
Next Monday and Tuesday, students will need to access the parking lot from Lincoln Ave. 18th street will be under construction during these two days.
Lake Land College is hosting a Career Day for juniors and seniors! This is an opportunity for you to learn about a variety of careers and how to set yourself on a path to attain those careers. There will also be over 50 different college representatives for you to speak to. This is a great event, and your attendance is strongly encouraged. Please check your school email for registration details! The deadline to register is this Friday, September 22. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Meeker via email. Looking to have a future in acting or public speaking? The Speech and Drama team could be the place for you. We will have an informational meeting to explain what the team is all about on Monday September 25th from 5:30-6:15pm in room 219.
Any girls interested in Basketball, please plan to attend a meeting next Wednesday at 8:20 in Baker Gym.
After the football game, head over to the Family Worship Center for 5th quarter. There will be refreshments, games, photo booth, and lots more for all CHS students. Come anytime between 9 and 11:30pm.

Bella Vista Resort located at 19795 State Highway 16 is having a Homecoming special for students this Friday and Saturday. There will be 5.00 cornhole and miniature golf.
