CHS Daily Announcements

Happy National FFA Week! As a way to celebrate our FFA chapter is doing a daily trivia and dress up days. Every day that a student participates they will be entered to win a gift card! Tomorrow's dress up day is CASE vs. John Deere. If you participate in a dress up day, please stop past the ag building to have your name entered in the drawing. Today's Trivia question is: Which food makes up more of our diet than any other food grown on a farm?     email your answers to Mr. Oakley or Ms. Walk!

Youth Alive will meet in room 301 during WIN B today, Feb. 22.

Laissez le bon temps rouler!

On Monday, February 26th, there will be a meeting held for all chorus students registered for the 2024-2025 school year interested in participating in our Choir Tour to New Orleans, Louisiana scheduled for Spring Break 2025. At this meeting, we will be discussing the itinerary for the trip, fundraising opportunities, and student/parent expectations. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:00pm and should last about 45 minutes. It is recommended that students and parents attend this meeting together. Attendance at the meeting is simply an opportunity to gain information and not a commitment to attend the tour. The tour is open to any students enrolled in Concert Choir and Advanced Chorus next year but is not required for those registered in chorus classes.

On Tuesday, February 27th, the Wittenburg University Choir from Springfield, Ohio will be providing a concert in the CHS Auditorium during WIN time as part of our L3 (Lunch, Listen, and Learn series). The performance is open to all students and staff. All choir students will be required to attend. We ask that the Baker Gym hallway be clear of students during this time to avoid noise conflicts. Hope to see you there!
