Maximum Forte is proud to announce our annual showcase entitled “With A Little Help From Our Friends” to be held on May 3rd, 2024 at 7:00 in the CHS Swickard Auditorium. Tickets will be sold at the door for $5.00. It will be an exciting evening of a cappella singing, funny skits and audience participation, and a night when we will be honoring the legacy of our group including the alumni members that have paved the way for who we are today. We hope to see you there!

Senior NHS members: please turn in your dues and volunteer sheets to Ms. Peterson by next Tuesday.

Congratulations to the following students who placed in the Special Olympics event that was held at EIU last Friday:  Benjamin Boettcher, Payton Danielson, Devere Hatfield, Connor McQueen, Spencer Myerscough, Carl Prindable , and Triniti Thompson.

Special thank you to the CHS Football Team, Interact Club, and various other students that came out to support all Special Olympic Athletes for without you there would not have been an audience. To our CHS Administrators, Faculty, Staff and Students thank you for the wonderful send off!!!! Thank you for always encompassing our students and supporting them.

It’s National Prevention Week! Sometimes, we need to take prescription medications. Those are designed to help us when we’re sick! But they are prescribed to you, specifically. Make sure that you are keeping yourself and others safe by not sharing your medication, and always talking to your doctor when you want to make changes! Your mind matters, keep it substance-free! This week, you can head up to the bulletin board in the 400 wing to check out our Healthy Habits Bingo board! Take a moment to put a star on the habits you actively do, or what you hope to do better on!

Jack Veach is playing for the State Trophy this afternoon in Madden 24! Please wish him luck if you see him! And Rocket League is playing for a playoff spot this afternoon as well. If you see Jacob Roe, Jack Pierce, Jack Pearcy, or Jayden Clark, please wish them good luck this afternoon!

Youth Alive is meeting today in room 301 during WIN B. Everyone is welcome!

Boys and Girls track will be dismissed at 1:00, Boys JV Baseball will be dismissed at 2:00pm and Varsity Baseball at 2:15.
