Seniors, as a reminder all Fines/Fees to pay/textbooks/materials etc. must be paid or returned as well as any detentions and AER’s must be served by the 7th so you are able to walk the stage at Lantz. Please check with someone in the front office if you need to know your status.

This week is National Prevention Week! Peer pressure and environmental influences are two of the most common reasons why teens start drinking. Remember, YOU can be a positive influence on your friends. In a world that says alcohol is OK, remember that alcohol can damage your brain and can keep you from reaching your goals. Your mind matters, keep it substance-free! During lunch period today, visit Prevention Specialist Olivia Jenkins to play a game and potentially win a prize!
Students and staff- May 6-10 is teacher appreciation week. We will be recognizing ALL staff members during that time.
We would like to offer you the opportunity to let a staff member know that you appreciate them. There are notecards and envelopes in 5 locations around the school. They are free for you to take and write a kind, personal note to ANY staff member that you wish to recognize. This includes paras, teachers, custodians, cafeteria staff, secretaries, counselors, security staff. You may take the notes from any of the locations listed and return them to any of the locations. We will make sure they get them delivered by the end of the week. Seniors, this is a great way to say good-bye to that staff member that really helped you make it through! Please have them in by Thursday, May 9. Locations are the front office, guidance, the media center, study hall and the foyer in the 300's between the French and Spanish classrooms.
