Homecoming is Oct. 12th. Guest passes are available in the office or with Ms. Keeton. All Guest passes are due OCTOBER 8. NO late forms will be accepted. No exceptions.
Homecoming tickets will be $10 each and go on sale September 30-October 7 during lunch times ONLY. No late ticket sales will be made.
Seniors-If you picked up a Star Scholarship folder in Mrs. Nelson's office they are due back by Friday, September 27.
There will be a CHS Future Teachers Club Meeting on Thursday September 26, 2024 during WIN A in Mrs. Pendergast-White's Room 210. This is for ANY student who may be interested in working in the education field after high school. This includes teaching in preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school, along with other education positions such as social work, counselors, and speech pathology. We will discuss community service opportunities, conference opportunities, and the start of the new CHS student organization, Educators Rising. We'd love to see you there!!
Students-If you have not picked up last year's yearbook please stop by the French Room (Room 300) between classes, during WIN or before or after school. We will no longer be delivering to classes or putting out reminders. Also, don't forget to order this year's book by Friday to get the cheapest price of the year!

Coles County Clash is on Oct. 4th. We will be competing with Mattoon in a food drive as well. Help our school collect the most non perishable food items to fill the bed of a Ford Pick up Truck. Drop off food items at the ag. Building. For every 5 items, you will receive an entry to win a Ginger Ale’s gift card.
Seniors planning to attend EIU-You have the opportunity to win a $2000 scholarship toward your EIU tuition at the Coles County Clash game. To be entered in the drawing you must apply to EIU by Thursday, October 3.
