Announcements for Friday, February 28, 2025

Seniors: If you ordered caps and gowns and have not picked them up yet, they are in the office with Ms. Cartright. If you have NOT ordered yet, you need to see Ms. Cartright in the office if you need help ordering.  Orders need done by Friday, March 7th.   

Seniors, the Merv Baker Athletic Scholarship is due today, February 28 to the Guidance Office.  The application is listed on the guidance webpage. 

There are just a few weeks left to apply for an internship for next year. If you are a current sophomore or junior, you would have received an email with instructions on the application process. The application and three teacher recommendations are due by March 7. See Mrs. Niebrugge with questions.

Say goodbye to winter and hello to spring by helping us get rid of our winter apparel items like hats, coats, and gloves.  We have a variety of men and women’s clothing and other FREE things you might need.  We are in room 107 in the basement and make sure you completely fill out the request card. 

CHS Co-Ed Cheer open gyms for upcoming tryouts will begin March 10th, and will be every Monday and Wednesday from 3:30-5:30 p.m. The March 3rd and 5th Open Gyms have been canceled. The first couple of open gyms have also been moved to the CHS Cafeteria. Tryout week is April 14th - 17th in the West Gym. Tryout Packets are available in the front office. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Snoddy.

Friday there will be a pedal tractor pull in the A&M center during lunch. Pizza, ice cream, and strawberries will be available for students who participate. This is open to all students who have a class in the A&M center.

Softball tryouts are Monday, March 3rd, right after school from 3:30 – 5:30.  Tryouts will be outside, unless weather doesn’t corporate, then they will be in the West Gym. Baseball tryouts are Monday, March 3rd, right after school from 3:30 – 5:15 outside.
