Good morning CHS!

   Attention Seniors: The 2025 Charleston Rotary Club Scholarship for Charleston High School Graduates that plan to enroll at EIU has been added to the CHS guidance webpage.  The scholarship award is a one-time payment of $2000, payable to the recipient after confirmation of 10th day enrollment status in the upcoming fall semester.  See your guidance counselor with questions.

 

·         Students who have been accepted into the internship program for the fall semester are required to attend an informational meeting either today OR Wednesday, during WIN A in the auditorium.  You do not need to attend both meetings.  See Mrs. Niebrugge with questions.

 

·         Summer School forms are now available in the guidance office.  Please have forms filled out and turned in to Ms. Deadmond no later than 1 pm on Friday, May 23rd.

 

·         National Honor Society applications are due on Friday, March 28th.  Please see Ms. Peterson with any questions.

 

·         Guest Passes for prom are available in the office. They are due April 25. No late passes accepted. Be on the lookout for prom 2025 updates and get ready for A Night Under the Lanterns.

 

·         CHS Co-Ed Cheer open gyms for upcoming tryouts will be every Monday and Wednesday from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Tryout week is April 14th - 17th in the West Gym. Tryout Packets are available in the front office. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Snoddy.

 

·         The CHS Musical is looking for students with an interest in working behind the scenes for our upcoming show, Anything Goes. If you have an interest in being a part of our stage crew, lighting crew, front of house crew, costume/hair and makeup crew, or properties crew, please see Mrs. Sharp in the choir room or auditorium for an application by Friday.

 

 

·         Another rack of Grab n' Go clothes are outside the Thread n' Gold room located in the basement.  Take what you want, just please leave the hangers.  Help us make room for spring and summer!
