CHS faculty canvassed Charleston today delivering senior yard signs. Here are a few. To share a photo of your senior with their sign, please email them to runyonk@charleston.k12.il.us to be posted. A few addresses were inaccurate, please call the office on Monday.:

CHS Softball scheduled for last night will be played tonight at home at 4:30.
CHS Wrestling is cancelled for tonight. It will be made up at Robinson on 5/14.

CHS Seniors started taking Decision Day photos. More will be taken on Mon, May 3rd 7 all will be posted that day. Seniors wear a shirt showing your decision or use one of the whiteboards. Photos will be taken in the Media Center; remote students, email a photo to Mrs. Runyon

CHS Students: CHS is excited to offer 8 new elective courses that begin this fall (August 2021). You received an email last week about the courses, and the list is attached here: https://5il.co/s3up. Please contact the Guidance Office if you want to change your course request.

Saturday’s CHS home baseball games vs Teutopolis and softball games at Teutopolis will begin at 10 AM.

COLES COUNTY CLASH: Help cheer the Trojans on to victory! The Trojans will be making their way from CHS to O'Brien Field starting at 5:20. Come out and cheer them on!
Also, parents will be allowed to decorate our portion of the stadium, but only after they are admitted to the stadium at 6:00 PM.

All CHS Baseball and Softball games scheduled for tonight have been rescheduled for tomorrow.

Reminder: there are a limited number of tickets available for the community for the Coles County Clash. Come to the front office at CHS between 7:30 and 8:30 AM on Wednesday 4/21. First come, first serve. No cost for tickets. Limit 4 per person. Please only take what you need.

CHS FFA:
Poultry Judging
Today (4/20) was the Poultry judging contest in Martinsville, IL. We took five FFA members : Ellie Long, Elena Wetzel, Jonah Houston, Ashton Robison, and Bryant Parker. They judged the following ten classes: past production hens, bird grading, egg grading, meat evaluation, and identification of carcass parts. They placed sixth out of twelve teams with a score of 1198. Bryant Parker was the top individual of the team scoring 302.
On 4/7 was the livestock judging contest in Olney, Illinois with sections 20 and 23. We took five of our FFA members, Nate Shrader, Bryce Johnson, Elllie Long, Trent Ferguson, and Elena Wetzel. They judged seven different classes. They placed sixth out fourteen with a total score of 1262 points.
