Happy Monday everyone! Here's a peek at what the CHS Pottery & 3D Art/Crafts classes have been working on, in preparation of the upcoming Holiday Market put on by CHS Industries (on Dec. 8):
Pottery classes have been learning about different ways to create texture in clay, and various options for adding color, by making a series of ornaments. 3D Art/Crafts students have been designing and creating custom items using their choice of leather, pyrography (wood burning), or upcycled glass jars.
Each student was asked to make multiple pieces, and to select at least one piece to go toward the sale (the rest they could keep).
2D Art students are currently working on custom greeting cards. Photos coming soon!
