Mr. Spear's 8G Algebra students created models to incorporate the Pythagorean Theorem and a right triangle into a real-world problem. They present their problem to their classmates to solve. Well done, folks!
CMS participated in No One Eats Alone Day. Across the country thousands of middle schools participated by ensuring no one eats alone on this day. Students were randomly seated and had discussion cards to help chat. CMS teachers also ate lunch and visited with students.

The 7th grade boy's basketball regional game today in Taylorville has been postponed to tomorrow. Time for that game TBD.
After MAP testing today, Mr. Kanouse's 1st Period Class has been busy figuring probabilities for the different colored M&Ms in fun size bags. The reward? Eating them when they are done using their math skills! The probability of them enjoying the treat was 100%.
