Results for the JES Ma'Liyah White Hat Days: As you may know, one of our fourth-grade students, Ma’Liyah White, was involved in a terrible accident in January that resulted in a long hospital stay and time spent at a rehabilitation center where she is currently still becoming stronger.
The last day of each week in April we held a HAT DAY for students that donate $1. If students brought in a donation of $2-$5, they received a purple sticker
to wear as well in honor of Ma’Liyah’s favorite color.
JES raised $3,414 with the 5 HAT Days in April. JES staff would like to give a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who made this so amazing.
The 4th graders learned about Kente weaving and created their own out of paper. The 6th graders recently completed 2 point perspective street corners. Pictured are the awesome artists.
Mrs. Ball and Ms. Beabout's 6th grade classes went to Fox Ridge to plant plants for pollinators for Earth Day on April 21st. All the students had a great time planting the plants even though they got a little muddy.
