The School District strives to provide each student with the opportunity to acquire the very best education according to his or her needs and abilities. Upon leaving the school system, each student should have an employable skill and/or an adequate preparation for further training or education so that he or she may become a responsible, productive citizen. The schools also attempt to develop in each student an understanding of and appreciation for our American heritage.

A person who wishes to make a report under this Title IX Sexual Harassment grievance procedure may make a report to the Title IX Coordinator (Dr. Todd J. Vilardo, 410 W. Polk Avenue, 217-639-1002), Nondiscrimination Coordinator, Building Principal, Assistant Building Principal, Dean of Students, a Complaint Manager, or any employee with whom the person is comfortable speaking.
